On April 13, the special talent introduction meeting of Chenzhou City kicked off at the Beijing Ya’ao International Hotel. Experts and scholars from Chenzhou who live in Beijing introduced talent for their hometown.
“In the journey of comprehensively building a modern new Chenzhou, we are more eager for talent than ever before. Today, we are here in Beijing to hold this event, hoping to gather talent from all over the world to promote the high-quality development of Chenzhou.” Chenzhou extended a sincere invitation to college graduates in Beijing with infinite desire and expectations.
Chenzhou City will offer a settlement subsidy to high-level talents with a maximum of 3 million yuan, 1 million yuan, and 600,000 yuan, as well as a housing subsidy with a maximum of 1.5 million yuan, 800,000 yuan, and 600,000 yuan. It also provides special services for the high-level talents, as well as their families. For example, they can enjoy free and priority admission to scenic areas in Chenzhou.

“Chenzhou, as the hometown of non-ferrous metals, is striving to build bases for deep processing and renewable resources of non-ferrous metals. I believe that what I’ve learned in college can be applied in the development of Chenzhou,” said Zhang Jun, a graduate of Materials Science and Engineering at Beijing Institute of Technology.
For high-level talent, they are more concerned about the industrial situation, development environment, scientific research investment, and achievement transformation mechanism in Chenzhou.
Chenzhou, based on its regional and industrial advantages, has made great efforts to make it a global tourist destination and national innovation demonstration zone, boost opening-up development in Hunan and promote the comprehensive construction of Chenzhou Area of China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, National Sustainable Development Innovation Demonstration Zone, Industrial Relocation Demonstration Zone, National Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone, National Cross Strait Cooperation Industrial Park, and Hunan-Jiangxi Border Regional Cooperation Demonstration Zone. It has developed such advantageous industries as new materials, electronic information, and non-ferrous metals.
In order to ensure the transformation of scientific research achievements, Chenzhou has provided project subsidy of 0.5 to 5 million yuan for the introduced full-time talent teams that possess key core technologies.
Newly established key industry research institutes and research and development institutions can receive a maximum reward of 10 million yuan.

Chen Junming, who is studying at Beijing Jiaotong University, was the first to arrive at the event venue. “In order to participate in this recommendation meeting, I got up at 6 o’clock and took a bus for an hour and a half, hoping to apply for a position in my hometown and contribute to the construction of my hometown.”
Zeng Zefeng, a graduate student of Engineering in Environmental Science of North China Electronic Power University from Guiyang County, Chenzhou City was very excited to attend the talent introduction meeting held by his hometown.
“I have always been concerned about the development of my hometown. This event provides a good platform for students from Chenzhou. We hope more and more talent can return to Chenzhou and make contributions to Chenzhou,” said Huang Qiaohui, a PhD of Civil Engineering at Peking University.
More than 60 students from Chenzhou attended the event on that day.
The activity site was crowded with graduates. This promotion meeting attracted nearly 400 students from 13 universities in Beijing, including more than 270 undergraduate students and 28 postgraduate students. More than 180 people submitted resumes.
